Waugh makes move to Pegasus
Dominic Waugh has been appointed as senior director of planning in the multidisciplinary firm’s Newcastle office.
Prior to joining Pegasus Group, Waugh was principal director for planning at engineering consultancy Fairhurst, where he worked for almost 20 years.
The announcement follows the appointment last month of Eleanor Scott, who joined Pegasus’s Newcastle office as a senior heritage consultant from Northumberland County Council.
The Newcastle office now boasts 17 team members, working across urban design, heritage, and planning consultancy.
With nearly two decades of experience as a chartered town planner, Waugh has managed, coordinated and delivered a range of development projects for a wide range of clients including housebuilders, educational institutions, and PLCs.
High-profile projects include the development of strategic industrial land in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and providing planning consultancy for the staging of Kynren in Bishop Auckland.
Sandra Manson, executive director of Pegasus Group, said: “Dominic joins us with a stellar industry record and experience that will prove valuable in achieving our national and regional expansion aims. It is a pleasure to welcome Dominic to our Newcastle office and I look forward to seeing him apply his talents to our growing operation.”
Waugh himself spoke of the Pegasus team’s “well-established reputation for delivering work to the highest industry standards”.
