Pitt leaves Muse
The regeneration developer is now looking for a managing director of Yorkshire and the North East, as James Pitt departs after almost four years in the post.
Pitt is coming up to 30 years in the property industry, having joined Jones Lang LaSalle in 1996 after graduating with a degree in land management and qualifying as a chartered surveyor.
Appointed as a director in 2002, he left JLL to join Akeler Developments in 2006, taking on the UK leasing manager role.
Pitt was then made a regional development director, responsible for major projects in the North and the Midlands, when the firm was acquired by Goodman International.
In 2009 he joined Evans Property Group as development director.
He made the move to Muse in June 2021, working on major regeneration schemes throughout Yorkshire and the North East, such as Rotherham’s Forge Island and Bradford City Village.
A statement from Muse said: “We would like to thank James for his contribution to Muse and wish him well for the future.
“We are actively recruiting for the post of managing director in Yorkshire & the North East and will make further announcements in due course.”
