Full capacity for Lower Steenberg’s Yard offices
Knight Frank has fully let the four purpose-built, self-contained grade A office units to three tenants in Newcastle’s Ouseburn Valley.
The ground floor units have residential properties above and were developed by Newcastle City Council, Homes England, and igloo Regeneration.
The tenants are recruiting firm MacGregor Black, engineering consultancy Origin Integrity Management, and tech firm Luminous Group.
MacGregor has taken two units, of 2,550 sq ft and 1,350 sq ft respectively, while Origin has signed for a five year lease on a 2,000 sq ft unit.
Virtual reality training company Luminous has moved into its 2,400 sq ft office, having relocated from the Newcastle City Council-owned Toffee Factory due to the need for expansion.
Nathan Douglas, senior surveyor at Knight Frank, said: “The Ouseburn was previously an industrial location but has been regenerated and quickly established as one of Newcastle’s key creative and technological business hubs.
“The tenants were attracted by the vibrant, thriving community that’s been created in the Valley through a balanced mix of residential accommodation, leisure facilities, offices, industrial units, and retail.”
