- AMY HARHOFF, DURHAM COUNCIL | One of the council's key projects is Aykley Heads, a unique city centre development site that is set to be the catalyst for the Durham Innovation District. The site will drive a step change in economic growth, providing 4,000 jobs and 38,468sqm commercial floorspace.
- INSIYAH KHUSHNOOD, IGLOO | Igloo is a regenerative developer of sustainable neighbourhoods for communities, including the Pattern Shop, a £9m restoration of a historic engineering workshop in Newcastle, which now features more than 30,000 sq ft of workspace.
- NICOLA FAIRBAIRN, DAC BEACHCROFT | Fairbairn acts for a wide range of local authorities in the North East, as well as private developers involved in major regional projects, universities and Government agencies, and will share insights on the state of the market in the region.
- RICHARD HORNIMAN, MIDDLESBROUGH COUNCIL | Richard Horniman will delve into the Boho zone, Middlesbrough's digital and creative quarter, with offers a mix of commercial office space, live-work space, and residential space, across 11 separate buildings.
- JAMES PITT, MUSE | Muse is a nationwide placemaker, with a strong track record of delivering successful places, with the emphasis on sustainability, community and quality. Muse has a long history of working in the North East having delivered Newcastle Quayside, Walkergate Durham and HMRC Longbenton and more recently creating places in Stockton-on-Tees and South Shields.
- MICHELLE PERCY, NEWCASTLE CITY COUNCIL | Michelle is the director of investment and growth, playing a crucial part in ensuring that the wealth generated by the city benefits every resident as part of an inclusive economy. Michelle oversees the functions of planning, highways, property, major projects, housing and commercial so is key to how the city continues to grow and thrive. Michelle also holds responsibility for economic development, culture and events and works closely with private industry to ensure the needs of residents are met.
- MICHAEL HEPBURN, LICHFIELDS | Michael leads a workgroup in Lichfields’ Newcastle office, focusing on housing and mixed-use schemes. His specialist experience covers development appraisals, planning applications, environmental impact assessments and development plan representations. He also prepares and gives evidence at appeal and call-in enquiries and examinations in public.
- CHRIS DONABIE, NAYLORS GAVIN BLACK | Chris specialises in investment sales and acquisitions as well as development funding and joint ventures. He has a range of clients from institutions, property companies, high net worth families and individuals, developers and local authorities. Chris has a further role co-ordinating the strategic business development activities of the business.
