Completion for Greenbox Darlington
Main contractor Winvic has completed work on the 400,000 sq ft sustainability-led industrial project, delivered by Partners Group and Citivale.
The completion represents a significant milestone for Greenbox, a joint venture platform built by Partners Group, acting on behalf of its clients, in conjunction with Citivale, a specialist logistics developer and asset manager.
The business, which also has a scheme near Thirsk North Yorkshire, is designed to deliver best-in-class ESG-led products in the sector.
Greenbox Darlington comprises three prime industrial units, ranging from 84,950 sq ft. to 215,360 sq ft. The units were designed to achieve Net Zero Carbon in Construction and Operation alongside an EPC A and BREEAM Excellent rating.

Along with sustainable construction methods. Greenbox has pioneered the use of Liquid Petroleum Gas at its Darlington site, achieving a 44 tCO2e reduction over 22 weeks onsite.
The scheme is positioned close to both the A66 and the key arterial A1(M) route.
Marketed by Savills and HTA Real Estate, units at Greenbox Darlington offer 50m yard depths.
