New centre director at Eldon Square
Helen Cowie has more than 30 years of retail and operational experience, and joins with a remit to lead the centre through its ongoing pivot towards leisure-led offerings.
Eldon Square is managed by specialist investment manager Pradera Lateral and Savills.
Investment in the centre is continuing at pace, with openings planned for this year including 60,000 sq ft Next, entertainment and F&B destination Freight Island, and social darts venue Flight Club.
The North East native is employed by Savills and joins the company following 30 years at Marks and Spencer where she rose to regional manager, convenience, and worked across multiple regions including Scotland, the North East, and the North West.

“With her strong background in the sector and her deep understanding of the evolving retail, leisure and entertainment landscape, Helen is well positioned to lead Eldon Square through this exciting chapter.”
