Placefirst submits Riverside Sunderland resi plans
The proposed 165-home neighbourhood would be built in Farringdon Row, as one of the key housing developments in the city centre regeneration masterplan.
Plans for the project comprise 67 houses and 98 apartments, all of which would be developed and managed by Placefirst.
The BTR developer has worked alongside local architect IDP Partnerships, development consultant Identity Consult, sustainable engineering consultant Cundall, landscape architect LUC, and mechanical and electrical engineering consultant TACE to develop the submitted plans.
If permitted, the scheme would offer a range of one to two bedroom apartments and two to three bedroom houses for the long-term rental market, set alongside a mix of private and communal gardens.
Following a public consultation earlier this year, Sunderland City Council and Placefirst exchanged contacts for development in August.
